Columbia Records et Legacy Recordings, la division Catalogue de Sony Music Entertainement, annoncent la sortie de Bob Dylan- 1970, la première de la série des “Copyright collection” rendue disponible pour un large public le vendredi 26 février 21.

Les enregistrements de Bob Dylan- 1970 ont été une première fois rendus disponibles en edition ultra limitée le 4 décembre dans le cadre de la série Bob Dylan – 50^th Anniversary Collection, destinée depuis 2012 à prolonger la durée de copyright de ces performances. Le buzz autour des performances de 1970, en particulier la session studio du 1er mai 1970 avec George Harrison, a créé une forte demande pour une sortie plus large de ces enregistrements historiques.

Bob Dylan – 1970 comprend des outtakes inédits des sessions de Self Portrait et de New Morning ainsi que la session complete du 1er mai avec George Harrison, qui nous permet de les entendre jouer ensemble sur 9 tracks, avec des compositions de Dylan ( (« One Too Many Mornings, » « Gates of Eden, » « Mama, You Been On My Mind”) des reprises covers (the Everly Brothers’ « All I Have to Do Is Dream, » Carl Perkins’ « Matchbox ») et d’autres.
